• Participants are required to make a painting on a given topic.

• No reference material would be allowed.

• The participants are supposed to bring their basic materials along with medium to work (poster paints, acrylics, pastels etc.)

• Participants must refrain from portraying nudity or else they will be disqualified.

• Participants under no conditions are allowed to take their work home.

• Participants are required to complete their work with in their given time.

• Use only the mentioned material. Management will not be responsible for providing any materials.

• Management will not be held responsible for any loss in belonging.

• Use of electronic such as mobile phones, laptop and tablets won’t be allowed

• A3 SHEETS and DRAWING BOARDS are to be brought.

A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant.

A still life is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter, typically common-place objects.

• Participants will be required to bring their own still life objects and setup.

• Participants are required to make a live drawing of the objects (according to the given theme)

• Participants are supposed to bring their basic objects (i.e Pencil colours, watercolours, pastels, paintbrushes)

• Participants are required to show foreground and background.

• Participants under no conditions are allowed to take their work home.

• Participants are required to complete their work within their given time.

• No extra time would be given.

• Use only the mentioned material. Management will not be responsible for providing any materials.

• Management will not be held responsible for any loss in belonging.

• Use of electronic such as mobile phones, laptop and tablets won’t be allowed.

Appropriation in art is the use of pre-existing artworks or images with little or no transformation applied to them.

Participants are required to use their imaginative and creativity skills to turn their work into a master piece.

Participants MUST MENTION THE NAME OF THE ARTIST AND PAINTING THEY REPLICATED ALONG WITH THEIR ARTWORK.
