BELLES-LETTRES

RULES

  • Each team will start from the allocated room for Belles-Lettres, where a starter for the story line, on a piece of paper, will be given to each team.

  • On that paper, delegates will see: a word to word line from their specific story, clues that will lead them to the next place and some further information about the story.

  • The delegates have to write a story that best matches the lines and the information.They must include the lines in their stories without altering them.

  • Each team will be given two hours, forty-five minutes to hunt for all the clues and create a story that best matches the clues.  

  • To ensure fair-play, each team will be given a different story and will be under strict observation.

    Each delegate is required to turn in all their electronics, which allow them to access the internet, to the Event Head, within the first fifteen minutes of the commencement of the Event.

  • Any kinds of thesaurus or dictionaries are forbidden during the event.

  • Failure to comply by these rules will result in immediate disqualification of the team.
